Cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, icefishing and snowmobiling are all big draws to Prince Albert in the winter time. Deep, fresh snowfall makes the boreal sparkle from November to March. Sporting events also abound with hockey and dogsledding giving spectators a much needed adrenaline rush mid-winter.
