The annual
Threshing Festival takes place at the Vintage Power Machines heritage site on
Highway 11, five minutes south of the city, each July. This celebration of Saskatchewan’s
agricultural heritage spans three days and affords visitors a glimpse of the
way it used to be. From threshing demonstrations to tractor pulls, the Threshing
Festival has something for everyone. Pancake breakfasts and gospel concerts
are also a big draw.
