Founders' Day

Founders’ Day, which takes place on the riverbank each Father’s Day, celebrates the anniversary of the city’s founding in 1904. Open air concerts are partnered with food booths and children’s activities to bring visitors an entertainment experience that is truly Saskatchewan. Prince Albert also hosts a Street Festival along Central Avenue on Father’s Day, in conjunction with Founder’s Day. The day concludes with fireworks on the riverbank.
