Prince
Albert boasts a thriving arts and entertainment scene. The city abounds with
music, theatre and the visual arts with venues such as the E.A.
Rawlinson Centre and the Art
Gallery of Prince Albert enjoying growing attendance numbers. Community
theatre and local musicians are always busy as it seems there is rarely an evening
– at any time of year - where there is not a performance somewhere to
be found. The Broadway North Theatre Company hosts two major shows a year –
a summer musical and a Christmas musical. ShortStuff Productions and the Prince
Albert Community Players also stage several dinner theatres annually. Many of
the coffee shops in Prince Albert display work by local artists and even the
library has a wall space for shows in the Grace
Campbell Gallery.
